Background & Experience
Helga Smith is PSA managing partner responsible for business development, marketing, account management, and programme evaluation.
She studied modern languages and received a Masters Degree in Philology from the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt/M.
Before joining PSA in 1991, Helga headed the translation department of a legal practice in Frankfurt and was a cross-cultural instructor for the American Army Education Center in Hanau. She also worked in corporate communications for Siemens in Argentina.
Helga has managed diverse international projects and corporate campaigns including “100 Years Radio” a major anniversary event sponsored by Rohde & Schwarz and the Bavarian Government; “Top Secret” a national public speaking event for high-potentials in co-operation with the Financial Times (Europe) and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, and “BookFutures” an annual event attracting CEOs from over 20 different countries.
She has also designed and led numerous assessment centres, executive coachings, and trainer-training programmes.
Helga‘s special interest is “human factors” in organizational development: how to use “diversity” (cross- cultural and cross-disciplinary) to innovate and change.
